Activated Carbon for New Energy Industry — Energy Storage & Clean Energy Solutions

Special high-purity activated carbon is a core functional material widely adopted across the new energy industry, covering electrochemical energy storage, lithium battery manufacturing, photovoltaic production, hydrogen purification and renewable exhaust gas treatment. Strictly controlled pore structure, ultra-low metal impurities and consistent electrochemical performance meet rigorous requirements of battery and energy storage factories.

We supply customized activated carbon grades for supercapacitor electrodes, electrolyte polishing, solvent recovery and ultra-pure water treatment for lithium-ion battery and PV production lines.

Core Application Scenarios

  1. Supercapacitor / Ultracapacitor Electrodes High surface area activated carbon serves as the core electrode material for electric double-layer capacitors. It enables fast charge & discharge, high power density and ultra-long cycle life for energy storage, grid peak shaving and EV power assist systems.
  2. Lithium Battery Production Purification Purify lithium battery electrolyte, remove trace water, organic impurities and acidic contaminants. Capture NMP solvent vapor from electrode coating lines for recycling, cut raw material cost and reduce VOCs emissions in battery workshops.
  3. Photovoltaic Silicon Wafer Manufacturing Used in pretreatment of ultrapure water for silicon wafer texturing and cleaning. Eliminate residual chlorine, TOC and trace heavy metals to reduce wafer surface contamination and improve cell yield.
  4. Hydrogen Purification & Fuel Cell Gas Treatment Adsorb CO, CO₂, volatile organics and odor impurities from raw hydrogen. Protect fuel cell stacks from catalyst poisoning and guarantee stable operation of hydrogen energy systems.
  5. New Energy Plant Waste Gas & Wastewater Treatment Treat manufacturing exhaust from battery factories and PV workshops, remove VOCs and harmful odors. Polish factory wastewater to satisfy environmental discharge standards and support water reuse.

Why Choose Our Activated Carbon for New Energy

  • Ultra-low magnetic particles and heavy metal impurities, suitable for battery-grade production
  • Tuned pore distribution for high capacitance or selective gas/liquid adsorption
  • Strict batch consistency with complete COA test reports
  • Multiple grades: high-surface-area carbon for supercapacitors, granular/powder carbon for purification & solvent recovery
  • Low ash and low ion leaching, avoids contamination of sensitive new energy materials
  • Mass supply for large battery factories, PV plants and energy storage manufacturers

How It Works

For supercapacitors, ions are electrostatically adsorbed on the huge inner surface of activated carbon to store electric charge. In battery and PV manufacturing processes, activated carbon beds trap organic contaminants and solvent vapors via physical adsorption. For hydrogen purification, impurities are selectively captured while clean hydrogen passes through.

Industries We Serve

Lithium-ion battery plants, supercapacitor manufacturers, photovoltaic wafer factories, hydrogen fuel cell enterprises, energy storage system makers, new energy material factories.
