Food-process activated carbon can support decolorization and the removal of unwanted taste, odor and trace compounds from sweeteners, edible ingredients and beverage streams. Final selection is subject to food-contact requirements and buyer validation.
Discuss Your ProjectIndustry overview
Food-grade activated carbon is a safe adsorbent widely used in food and beverage manufacturing. Manufactured under strict food safety standards, it selectively adsorbs pigment, off-flavor substances, peroxide, trace contaminants and harmful by-products without introducing toxic impurities into food materials.
We supply powdered and granular food grade activated carbon for edible oil refinery, sugar mill, fruit juice, wine, drinking water and beverage production lines.
Powdered food-grade activated carbon mixes with crude liquid materials, capturing pigment and off-flavor molecules through physical adsorption. Carbon is filtered out after adsorption to obtain clear and purified food raw materials. Granular activated carbon is packed in filter columns for continuous water and beverage stream purification.
Edible oil refineries, sugar factories, fruit juice plants, wineries, beverage factories, starch & glucose manufacturers, food ingredient producers.

Frequently asked questions
Need a faster review? Send the available process data with your inquiry.
Yes. Share your process data and target limits so we can prepare a relevant evaluation sample. Freight is normally paid by the buyer.
Iodine value, particle size, strength, moisture and packing can be discussed against the equipment and required outlet quality.
Please provide the stream composition, target contaminants, inlet and outlet limits, flow, temperature, humidity or pH, contact time and current equipment.
Service life depends on actual contaminant loading, competing compounds and operating conditions. Pilot testing and breakthrough monitoring provide the most reliable estimate.
