Activated carbon is used in batch and continuous chemical processing to remove color bodies, trace organics and selected catalyst residues. Pore structure, purity, filtration behavior and product recovery are evaluated together.
Discuss Your ProjectIndustry overview
Activated carbon is a versatile adsorbent widely applied across chemical refining and fine chemical production. Its controllable micropore structure delivers selective adsorption to remove colored impurities, tar substances, residual catalysts, heavy metals, odor molecules and trace organic contaminants from liquid and gas streams during refining.
We supply granular, pellet and powdered activated carbon customized for harsh chemical working conditions, supporting batch refining, continuous tower adsorption and solvent recovery processes.
In liquid refining processes, powdered activated carbon mixes with crude liquid, adsorbing colored macromolecules and impurities. Carbon is separated by filtration to obtain clear refined liquid. For gas refining and waste gas treatment, fluid flows through granular carbon beds, trapping volatile organic pollutants inside carbon pores.
Fine chemical plants, petrochemical refineries, resin and plastic additive factories, surfactant production, biochemical synthesis, solvent recycling facilities.

Frequently asked questions
Need a faster review? Send the available process data with your inquiry.
Yes. Share your process data and target limits so we can prepare a relevant evaluation sample. Freight is normally paid by the buyer.
Iodine value, particle size, strength, moisture and packing can be discussed against the equipment and required outlet quality.
Please provide the stream composition, target contaminants, inlet and outlet limits, flow, temperature, humidity or pH, contact time and current equipment.
Service life depends on actual contaminant loading, competing compounds and operating conditions. Pilot testing and breakthrough monitoring provide the most reliable estimate.
