Activated carbon supports selected gas, chemical and water-purification steps in photovoltaic-material production. Applications include process exhaust, solvent vapor, feed-water pretreatment and chemical decolorization, with media matched to each stream.
Discuss Your ProjectIndustry overview
Special high-purity activated carbon is a core functional material widely adopted across the new energy industry, covering electrochemical energy storage, lithium battery manufacturing, photovoltaic production, hydrogen purification and renewable exhaust gas treatment. Strictly controlled pore structure, ultra-low metal impurities and consistent electrochemical performance meet rigorous requirements of battery and energy storage factories.
We supply customized activated carbon grades for supercapacitor electrodes, electrolyte polishing, solvent recovery and ultra-pure water treatment for lithium-ion battery and PV production lines.
For supercapacitors, ions are electrostatically adsorbed on the huge inner surface of activated carbon to store electric charge. In battery and PV manufacturing processes, activated carbon beds trap organic contaminants and solvent vapors via physical adsorption. For hydrogen purification, impurities are selectively captured while clean hydrogen passes through.
Lithium-ion battery plants, supercapacitor manufacturers, photovoltaic wafer factories, hydrogen fuel cell enterprises, energy storage system makers, new energy material factories.

Frequently asked questions
Need a faster review? Send the available process data with your inquiry.
Yes. Share your process data and target limits so we can prepare a relevant evaluation sample. Freight is normally paid by the buyer.
Iodine value, particle size, strength, moisture and packing can be discussed against the equipment and required outlet quality.
Please provide the stream composition, target contaminants, inlet and outlet limits, flow, temperature, humidity or pH, contact time and current equipment.
Service life depends on actual contaminant loading, competing compounds and operating conditions. Pilot testing and breakthrough monitoring provide the most reliable estimate.
